Ok, so I officially am having a really really shitty day. Here's the deal: I am buying Nick's mom's car. I sent her a check dated for August 1st for $500 because I got paid today so I'd have the money in the bank by then. The problem is that I only grossed $574. That would have been ok if they'd taken out the deductions they normally do, which is never more than a few dollars because I'm a student worker at WOU supporting myself. Well, apparently, they have a different deduction system in the summer, one that fucks my world up. They took $80 out of my paycheck. Now, if you do the math, that leaves me with $495. Now, had I had money in the bank before that, it might have been ok. And if I didn't owe someone else $60, it would have been fine. But my point is this: I am short on money. Way short. And I need to sell my car because the deal on that also fell through (my poor cousin got in a bad accident). Anyhow, I just needed to rant because I'm very upset. If you want to buy a car for $450 or whatever the best offer I get is, let me know. It isn't a bad car, it just needs some body work and a few minor mechanical adjustments.
This is just sad.

WOW, loooong time no blog!
So, it's been a while, I must admit. I've been busy though, what with the moving and the school and the work. I dunno, I'm just making excuses. I don't really know what to say. I work at the ITC building on campus and I have the coolest job ever. i deliver computer equipment and I get to drive a bad ass little golf cart! I live with my boyfriend, Nick. He isn't home most of the time though. He is working in Newport till at least the 30th of this month. But after that, he gets a full week off. I moved to Monmouth a week ago. I live with Kara and Brandon and Nick and Garren and Sammi and Lynn and Kyle. I know that's a lot of people, but they don't all live there at the same time. Kara and I live there full time and Brandon and Garren and Sammi are there most of the time, but Lynn and Kyle only come down once a week or so and Nick comes back every couple of weeks. Hm....Well, I really don't know what else to tell you about my life right now....OH! New car! Getting a new car. Nick's mom is selling me her 95 Honda Civic. Should be way better than the car I have now :P but that's not saying much.

that you rise to face those challenges and you can do it. Never lose your
laid-back qualities as they will help you greatly. Just step onto that hard road
every once in awhile and you'll discover that with each stretch it becomes easier

So when I first moved home, I was kinda unhappy. I just wanted to be at school. Now that the time has come to go back, however, I'm dreading the move. It's true, I complain on a daily basis about the problems I have with our slowly growing city, but honestly, I love it. I'm going to miss it and the people here. I know I'm not far away, but it's far enough that we won't have the spontaneous hang outs or the random run ins. Oh well, I will survive, I've done it before.

So I'm angry...and I'm hurt. I fluxuate between angry and hurt and it's driving me crazy. I really have no right to be angry. These people had no obligations to me. I'm not really friends with her. And he wasn't "with" me. He'd dumped me like a month before. So why do I feel so betrayed and hurt and angry? This really shouldn't bother me...shouldn't even phase me. Someone fix it. Please. Really, I'd do anything, just...make it go away.

This Is My Life, It's Not What It Was Before...
Questions eh? They seem to be popular amongst the blogs these days. So I have one of my own....How do you hold on to your faith and your hope in the face of something that seems so doomed? Don't think I'm in some sort of mortal jeopardy or anything, not by any means. But I am somewhat unhappy. That tends to happen though, when you put off telling someone something, you regret it later. when you put things off...that horrible cliche comes around..."oppertunity only knocks once"...well it isn't true, but it only hangs around for a limited time...But someone has told me that oppertunity is really round trip, even if it doesn't seem like it. So this is where my question ties in. How do you, in the face of that "round trip" that seems more like it's one way, keep your faith and hope alive? How do you convince yourself that it isn't one way? that it'll make its way back? Because sometimes that happens...not everybody has a happy ending you know...
